At First Wholistic healthcare, we work hand in hand with our patients to manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, hypothyroidism, COPD, Asthma, medication management, refills and many more.

We also provide acute care / sick visits for conditions such as fever, common cold, abdominal pain, headache, infections, skin conditions, or any condition that may arise at any time of the day or night.

We provide preventive care such as wellness visit for adults and children, weight management, birth control options, various testing, patient education and individualized plans for the promotion of health.

We offer comprehensive treatment for a wide range of mental health conditions. Our services include psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management.

 

We provide expert care for conditions such as schizophrenia, eating disorders, mood disorders, adjustment disorders, ADHD, PTSD, anxiety, depression, OCD, and more.

 

Our approach incorporates culturally sensitive care, motivational interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to create individualized, effective treatment plans tailored to your mental health needs across the lifespan.

    Primary Care Providers helps with an array of conditions, including: Preventive Care: Your PCP is your ally in staying healthy with vaccinations, health screenings, and lifestyle advice to ward off diseases. Acute Illnesses: From minor fevers to sore throats, colds, flu, infections, and minor injuries, your PCP is ready to diagnose and treat. Chronic Conditions: Managing long-term conditions like diabetes, hypertension, asthma, back pain, thyroid issues, arthritis, and more is their specialty. Routine Check-ups: Regular visits help keep your health on track and monitor any changes. Mental Health: Addressing concerns like anxiety, depression, and stress is part of their comprehensive care. Women’s Health: Including reproductive health, family planning, and routine gynecological care. Men’s Health: Covering prostate health, sexual health, and routine health checks.   • What’s a Primary Care Provider (PCP)?
    Think of a PCP as your health’s go-to guardian and guide. Often referred to as family doctors or general practitioners, PCPs offer a lifeline of essential healthcare services including: Routine check-ups and physicals General health assessments Immunizations Preventative screenings Diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries Managing chronic health conditions Referring you to specialists when needed
  • What services does your clinic offer?
    Our clinic specializes in Family Medicine, Psychiatric Evaluations, and Medication Management. We also offer in-depth health assessments to craft personalized and effective treatment plans just for you.
  • Getting Ready for Your First Appointment
    For your initial appointment with your Primary Care Doctor, kindly remember to bring the following items with you: A valid photo ID Your insurance details Any available medical records such as X-rays, list of medications you're taking, etc Information about your preferred pharmacy such as name, address, and phone number, in case a prescription needs to be filled.
  • Do you have any restrictions on specific medications that you won't prescribe?
    Regulations prevent this practice from prescribing Schedule II controlled substances, including stimulant medications like Adderall, Ritalin, Focalin, Concerta, and Vyvanse, which are commonly used to treat ADHD. However, if you're interested, there are non-stimulant alternatives available.
  • What kind of device do I need to attend a session?
    Given that our practice is technology-driven, you'll need access to a mobile device (phone, tablet, laptop, or computer) that supports both video and audio functionalities. Additionally, you should have a reliable internet connection with sufficient bandwidth to support video streaming.
  • What are the advantages of Telepsychiatry?
    Telepsychiatry provides the convenience of connecting with your provider from the comfort of your private space, on your mobile device or computer. This means no more trips to a physical office, giving you back precious time in your hectic day.
  • Is emergency care available?
    Our practice does not offer emergency services. If you need immediate attention, please dial 911 or visit the nearest emergency room.
  • How can I schedule an appointment?
    You can conveniently schedule all appointments online, allowing you to select a date and time that fits your schedule best. Once your appointment is confirmed, we'll begin collecting necessary information, such as your personal history and current concerns. Please ensure that all required details are completed before your first visit. Rest assured, all communication is HIPAA compliant. If you have any questions during the process, feel free to reach out to our office.
  • Are specialized therapeutic services part of your offerings?
    Our core offerings will encompass diagnostic assessments, psycho-education to help you understand your diagnosis, and medication management as needed. Although standalone therapy sessions aren't currently available, we do incorporate some talk therapy into follow-up appointments. Should therapy become an essential part of your treatment plan, we'll explore various options and provide referrals if necessary.
